Get ready to soar! The Suncook Valley Rotary Club proudly presents the 44th Annual Hot Air Balloon Rally, returning to Pittsfield, New Hampshire, July 31 – August 2. With more than a dozen hot air balloon pilots and crews from across the country expected to attend, this beloved summer tradition promises a weekend filled with colorful skies, family-friendly entertainment, and community fun.
Weather permitting, spectators can enjoy up to four spectacular balloon ascensions throughout the weekend:
- Friday evening
- Saturday morning and evening
- Sunday morning
The excitement continues after dark with the crowd-favorite Night Glows on Friday and Saturday evenings, when illuminated balloons create a dazzling display, followed by a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday night.

The weekend concludes Sunday morning with the Frank H. Donovan 5K Road Race and the always-popular Cow Chip Bingo Raffle.

The Hot Air Balloon Rally is entirely volunteer-run and serves as the Suncook Valley Rotary Club’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds support scholarships and community initiatives throughout Barnstead, Chichester, Epsom, Loudon, and Pittsfield.
Parking is $10 per vehicle.
- Parking with shuttle: Globe/MSA, using the Leavitt Road entrance.
- Parking without shuttle: Atlantic Safety, 55 Barnstead Road.
Parking proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations.
