The New Hampshire Book Festival announces that tickets are now on sale for two of its most anticipated 2026 events: the Keynote Author conversation with Jodi Picoult and a newly added Family Keynote with Jeff Kinney. The announcement follows the rapid sellout of Kinney’s Children’s Keynote, showing strong demand for the festival’s headline programming.
Jodi Picoult, the #1 New York Times–bestselling author, will appear on Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m. at the Capitol Center for the Arts. Tickets are $50 and include a copy of her forthcoming novel, “Hollow Bones.” Known for her deeply researched and emotionally resonant fiction, Picoult’s keynote is expected to draw a large audience.
Following the sellout of his Friday morning Children’s Keynote on October 2 at 10:30 a.m., bestselling author Jeff Kinney will return for a newly added Family Keynote on Saturday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m., also at the Capitol Center for the Arts. The additional event provides families and fans with another opportunity to see the creator of the globally popular “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series.
“We saw an incredible response to Jeff Kinney’s Children’s Keynote, and we’re excited to add a Family Keynote so more young readers can take part,” said Emilie Burack, co-founder of the New Hampshire Book Festival. “At the same time, we’re thrilled to welcome Jodi Picoult as our 2026 Keynote Author. These events highlight the range of voices and audiences the festival brings together.”
The New Hampshire Book Festival is a statewide celebration of books and readers, featuring a full day of free programming alongside select ticketed keynote events with nationally recognized authors.
Tickets for both events are available now and are expected to sell quickly. Additional festival programming will be announced in the coming months.
