The Eleventh Letter Writing Gallery, in partnership with the Women’s Caucus for Art/New Hampshire Chapter (WCA/NH), is hosting a free art event on Saturday, February 7, in preparation for Valentine’s Day. Located at 146 N Main Street in Concord, the public is invited to drop in anytime from 1–3 p.m. to decorate an “I Am Grateful for You” postcard and participate in a radical act of love and kindness.

The “I Am Grateful for You” postcard project welcomes participants of all ages to decorate and send handmade postcards expressing love and gratitude to a friend, loved one, neighbor, or even a stranger. The more hands and voices involved, the more postcards—and kindness—will be sent out into the world. All supplies will be provided. In addition, fun art ideas and writing prompts will be available for anyone who needs a little extra inspiration. WCA/NH will even provide the postage!

The project is a national collaboration between artist Anne Labovitz’s “I Love You Institute” and the National Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA). This socially engaged initiative frames kindness as a radical act of healing. To date, more than 700 postcards have been sent across the country.

The Eleventh Letter Writing Gallery champions the written word and elevates creativity through literary exhibitions, workshops, and events. The New Hampshire Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art is part of a national art organization dedicated to supporting women in the visual arts through exhibitions, programs, and networking opportunities.
