Paul Hodes and The Blue Buddha Band celebrate the release of their second album in a CD release concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage in Concord, New Hampshire, at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. Led by guitar-slinging former congressman Paul Hodes, The Blue Buddha Band features bassist Jon Gabay, Dean Rubine on keyboards, first-call drummer Ed Raczka, and guest vocalist Peggo Horstmann Hodes.
The Blue Buddha Bandโs original Americana rock sound fuses roots, rock, folk, and blues with superb songwriting into a powerful blend. Our original tunes cover a lot of ground hitting all the essentialsโฆlove, sex, life, death, war, peace and hot cars.
The band released its debut 11-song album, โTurn This Ship Around,โ featuring a true story embodied in an upbeat and poignant single, โThe Night I Met John Lennon.โ The bandโs second album, โThe Heartland,โ features nine new originals and will be available on CD at the release concert on December 5 and is slated for worldwide release on all platforms by major indie label Valley Entertainment in early 2026.
