Franklin Opera House is proud to bring playwright/performer J.T. Turner, founder of The Actors Company, to the Franklin Public Library on November 14.
Turner will be performing his one-man show, “Robert Frost: Light & Dark,” described as “a remarkable and intimate journey.” The performance mixes biographical anecdotes with readings of Frost’s most famous poems, from “The Road Not Taken” to “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Turner’s moving performances as Frost have filled the historic Frost Farm in Derry to capacity multiple times, and have been featured by the Vermont Humanities’ Council Snapshot series, Museum on Main’s Kinney Lecture Series in California, and numerous theaters, libraries, and schools across North America.
J.T. Turner is an award-winning professional actor, playwright, historian, and teaching artist. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity, with credits on stage, screen & audio, J.T. also tours theaters, museums, schools, and libraries with his original one-man literary and historical theatrical shows.
Join your friends on November 14th for “Robert Frost: Light & Dark.” Advance tickets are on sale now at www.FOHNH.org, adults $18, students and seniors $16. Seating is limited. Tickets at the door will be $20.
