Calling all clothing enthusiasts! There will be a clothing swap at Table Bakery on Sunday, August 17, hosted by plus-size vintage fashion brand Fat & Habitat alongside Nasturtium Studio, a business centered around small-batch florals and handmade goods.

Clothing drop-off begins at 11:30 a.m., with the swap taking place at 12 p.m. Bring a bag and your clean clothing, shoes, or accessories to exchange with one another.

“Our goal with the clothing swap is to bring a free event to the folks of Concord in order to emphasize sustainability, which is something we both focus on in our creative work, but also to bring together community in a way that requires no exchanging of money,” said Lindsey Cilley of Fat & Habitat.

The organizers want everyone to feel encouraged to show up and share in a love of fashion and sustainability.

“We want the community to grow and for folks to feel welcome whether it’s during this swap or future events we put on. With the help of Chelsea [Annett] from Table, this is another way to bring friends (new and old) together,” Cilley said. “And you get to walk away with new-to-you piece for your wardrobe in time for seasonal changes!”

Table Bakery is located at 5 Eagle Square in Concord. All are welcome.
