Although the beauty and history of Concord is all around us, we can’t forget about all the amazing people right here and now who make it such a wonderful city in which to live and work. To acknowledge these incredible folks, each year ConcordTV asks you to nominate the Most Fascinating Individuals of the year. On Oct. 15, we’ll feature selected individuals as guests and subjects of brief films on our eight-hour live broadcast, Concord On Air, celebrating the very best of our capital city.

So step up and speak out for those special people who’ve made 2017 such a great year. Now is the time to nominate your Most Fascinating Individual of the year, so go to yourconcordtv.org and download the form to submit their name and information. The deadline to submit is Sept. 22.)

Who can be considered fascinating? Think of an eclectic mix of captivating people from the greater Concord area who are prominent names (or work quietly behind the scenes) in politics, arts, entertainment, sports, economic development, popular culture, philanthropy, civic pride, entertainment and beyond. (Don’t be afraid to think of the members of the Insider, too.)

Besides being fascinating, what else is necessary to be considered? Most Fascinating Individuals have to satisfy the following criteria:

Must be active in the Concord community.

Must currently live or work within a 30-mile radius of Concord.

Must be an individual, not a couple or a group.

Must not be a staff or board member of ConcordTV.

When you go to nominate someone, be sure to include a separate page explaining why you think this individual should be considered one of Concord’s Most Fascinating Individuals of 2017. Once you’ve got that done, drop it off or mail it to ConcordTV, 170 Warren St., Concord, NH 03301, or e-mail it to doris@yourconcordtv.org.

Selected nominees will be contacted by Oct. 2. Nominees will then be featured on ConcordTV’s live telecast of Concord On Air on ConcordTV channels 6, 17, and 22 on Oct. 15.

So don’t delay. Download a nomination form, submit it by Sept. 22 and watch the big reveal of Concord’s Most Fascinating Individuals of 2017.
