Coffeehouse is back at Audubon

Birds and Beans Coffeehouse returns to the N.H. Audubon McLane Center with another great show.

The husband and wife duo of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer Harvey Reid and vocalist and violinist, Joyce Andersen, will take the stage for an evening of musical fusion.

“It’s just a variety of bluegrass, folk, old time Celtic,” said Ruth Smith. “Just a nice array of music.”

Reid is considered somewhat of a master of the acoustic guitar, autoharp and the six-string banjo, while Andersen thrives on writing and interpreting various genres of songs.

The Seacoast-based duo is making a return to the Concord area after not playing the music scene for many years.

“They’re really great,” Smith said. “So far we’ve had really nice turnouts and hoping to continue that trend.”

The show is April 6 (next Thursday) at 7 p.m., and seating is limited so you might want to make a decision soon if you plan on going.

“We highly recommend people get tickets in advance,” Smith said.

Tickets are $15 for Audubon members, and $18 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased at nhaudubon.org or by calling 224-9909, ext. 313.

Refreshments and Birds and Beans bird-friendly coffee will be available.

This is the fourth concert in the Birds and Beans Coffeehouse series.
