Every artist starts out somewhere, and who knows, some of the next big names in art might just be studying at NHTI. As you’re reading this, the work of four senior visual artists is on display in the school’s library, highlighting the annual Visual Arts Senior Capstone project. For the capstone, seniors work with a professor to produce an exhibit. It’s kind of like the culmination of their time in the NHTI program. So through Jan. 10, the work of Sarah Lepkowski, Matthew Dionne, Hannah Maciolek and Ryan Cloutier can be enjoyed by all – and the best part is that each one works in a different medium. Top left: Heart, ceramic with black and white glaze (Lepkowski). Top right: Secrets, photography (Maciolek). Middle: Timberland Tiger, colored pencil (Cloutier). Above: Stonebrook, visual representation (Dionne).
