On Sunday, the Concord community will once again walk to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. We invite you to join us as we unite as the courageous, the determined, the innovative, the passionate, the empathetic and the caring. Who will you be? Together we can free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer and all cancers.

Our Making Strides event in Concord is one of 300 walks across the country. Last year, thousands of community members raised $466,870 and for the eighth year in a row Concord continues to be the highest fundraising event per capita in the country.

Since 1993, Concord has raised more than $7 million dollars. Those dollars are making a difference in the lives of men and women right here in the Concord community, who use the American Cancer Society’s programs and services as they navigate their cancer treatment.

We are increasing cancer awareness, promoting healthy living and raising funds for breast cancer research, programs and services.

Whether you are a survivor, team member, individual walker or volunteer, we all share an unwavering determination to make this breast cancer’s last century. On the day of event, there will be laughter and tears as we walk to honor breast cancer survivors and remember those who have been taken all too soon from the disease. And when the last participant crosses the finish line, we will celebrate the dollars raised that will help finish this fight.

So we ask you: Who will you be today? Our vision is a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. Our collective determination and generosity will achieve it. We hope you will join us. Together we are a united force against cancer. For more information, visit MakingStridesWalk.org/ concordnh or email chair@concordstrides.com.
