Winning big-time media awards has become a routine thing around here. That being said, it doesn’t mean we’re not still super appreciative and thankful for all the praise we get around the community.
That’s why we’re using this space to both toot our own horns and give thanks back.
The most recent slate of hardware comes from ConcordTV, an organization quite familiar with the Insider.
ConcordTV and its leader, Doris Ballard, have been featured in these pages many times over the years for one thing or another, so it only makes sense that the two media juggernauts come together over some appreciation awards.
We couldn’t make it to the ConcordTV Annual Meeting Appreciation event at The Barley House last week, but Ballard let Jon into the Concord High studio to pick up our framed awards.
There were two separate awards: Tim (Mr. Editor) got the Business Partnership Award and Jon got the (much smaller) Media Partner Award. Both were “For Outstanding Support in Helping to ‘Tell the Story’ of Concord Community TV in the Concord Insider.”
