Do you like playing golf on a weekday? Do you enjoy being fed both breakfast and lunch? What about listening to a powerful speaker while eating said lunch?

Well, you can achieve all of those if you sign up for the 4th annual Frank Monahan Foundation Fore the Kids Golf Classic.

But it is on Monday, so you don’t have a lot of time to sign up.

The best ball, scramble tournament is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Frank Monahan Foundation, which then uses the money to provide assistance in the betterment of the lives and athletic experiences of the youth of Concord and surrounding communities. Over the last couple years, the foundation has purchased new basketball uniforms for the Bishop Brady and Merrimack Valley varsity basketball programs, new band equipment for Bishop Brady, helped redo basketball courts in Concord and made numerous monetary donations.

So if you planned on playing golf next week, why not put your money toward a great cause and still hit the links? Did we mention there will also be food?

The tournament, held at Concord Country Club, begins with check-in at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8 a.m. There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with the luncheon to begin at 2 p.m.

Cost is $125 per player or $500 for a foursome, which includes greens fees, breakfast and the luncheon. You can also just go to the luncheon for $30.

Dic Donahue, a retired MBTA Transit Police officer who was seriously wounded during the pursuit of the Boston Marathon bombers, will be the guest speaker for the luncheon.
