The sport of FlingGolf came to Beaver Meadow Golf Course for a demonstration Sunday morning. The game, in which players fling a golf ball using a stick similar in design to a lacrosse stick, is played on traditional golf courses. Alex Van Alen conceived the sport in Massachusetts and is showcasing it across the country. Spoiler alert: we dug it! Stay tuned next week for a first-hand account of our first official round.
