Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is celebrating National Falls Prevention Awareness Day with a screening of “The Falling Monologues” on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Horseshoe Pond Place Senior Resource Center, 26 Commercial St., Suite 105. The program is from 10:15 a.m. to noon.
“The Falling Monologues” is an innovative collection of stories inspired by real-life scenarios. It covers common causes of falls and fall prevention tips, as well as other frequently overlooked issues, including how crippling a fear of falling can become. There will be a post-film discussion and fall prevention resources available.
