Farm energy efficiency workshop at Carter Hill

Looking for ways to save energy on the farm? Interested in programs that may assist you in making your operation more energy efficient? Come see what farms in Merrimack County have done. Merrimack County Conservation District will sponsor four workshops in August showcasing farm energy efficiency practices. Energy auditors will be available to discuss their recommendations. Producers will be available to discuss the pros and cons of different options.

Each workshop will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Please contact the District at 223-6023 or email info@merrimackccd.org for questions, directions, or to register for the workshop. Please join us for one or all of the farm energy workshops: Aug. 19 at Highway View Farm in Boscawen, Aug. 21 at Spring Ledge Farm in New London, Aug. 26 at Carter Hill Orchards in Concord, and Aug. 28 at North Family Farm in Canterbury.

This energy series was made possible by a USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Conservation Innovation Grant.
