This Market Days preview is so good, you’ll want to kiss us

Memorial Day may be the unofficial kickoff to summer, but the season doesn’t hit full swing in Concord until everyone’s favorite summertime festival returns to Main Street. Well, it’s time – Market Days is back this Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

There’s something for everyone at Market Days – well, except people who hate having fun – and this year there’s a handful of exciting new things going down, including (what we assume is) the first ever mini golf course at City Plaza! There’s also a new stage hosted by 102.3 The River on Friday, and a revamped schedule for South Main Park, the southern most point of the festival, to help keep the path more open for foot traffic (because feet are attached to people, and Intown Concord wants people walking around!)

Of course, there’s all the usual excitement, like a handful of stages offering live music virtually every hour throughout the festival, vendors up and down both sides of the street, and games and competitions to keep people of all ages engaged.

It’s all thanks to Intown Concord, which has revitalized the festival and turned it into one of the city’s greatest events every year. So we figured we ought to turn up the volume on our annual preview section, too. For the first time ever, the entire preview section is a handy pull-out. That’s right, you can take all the Market Days knowledge you need – including a map of all the important stuff on Main Street – with you wherever you go. It’s the least we could do!
