Mark down May 15 for annual Rock ’N Race

Join your co-workers and neighbors or bring your family to the annual Rock ’N Race run/walk on Thursday, May 15 in downtown Concord.

The 5K sanctioned event begins near the State House Lawn at 6 p.m.

Register on May 14 at St. Peter’s Parish, 135 N. State St., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or on race day at the State House Plaza from noon to 5:30 p.m.

Along the route, grab a bite to eat or a cool beverage from one of the many vendors including New Hampshire Distributors, The Common Man, Courtyard by Marriott, Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, and Granite State Candy Shoppe.

Area musicians will entertain participants throughout the course and at the finish line, enjoy dinner courtesy of Alan’s of Boscawen, Inc.; O Steaks; and Weathervane Seafoods while listening to Amorphous Band on the main stage.

Pay tribute to your loved ones by signing the Rock, Race and Reflect wall that will be placed at the State House plaza on race day. The wall, which consists of three sections each seven feet high and eight feet long, is weatherproof and will be placed on display at the Payson Center for Cancer Care’s tribute garden after the event.

A photo booth will also be located at the State House Plaza to take memento photos of this special day.

Participants must adhere to USATF rules: Inpiduals pushing strollers and baby joggers are prohibited from running in this event and must register as walkers. No pets, bikes, roller blades, skateboards, earbuds or headphones will be allowed on the course.
