These homes most likely housed some books, and maybe some people or something, but this spot later became prime real estate for volumes. The houses seen above were located at the corner of Prince and Green Streets until they were removed in the early 1930s to make way for the Concord Public Library. We like to believe the two homes that were relocated belonged to the Dewey and Decimal families, who later saw their children tie the knot in the celebrated Dewey-Decimal wedding.
