Janeway’s watercolors on display at Audubon

Local artist and naturalist Betsy Janeway will be exhibiting some of her watercolor paintings at the N.H. Audubon’s McLane Center in Concord in March and April.

An artist’s reception will be held on Tuesday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. to open the exhibit.

Janeway’s paintings depict landscapes and images of places and things that she holds dear. She has painted scenes from most of the N.H .Audubon’s 39 sanctuaries and images of sites from her travels. The watercolors capture a mood and memories, helping viewers to experience the feelings Janeway had when she visited these special places.

Janeway has a long history with N.H. Audubon, as a volunteer, serving on committees and the board of trustees and helping with the N.H. Breeding Bird Atlas.
