Classic Concord photo – Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Faithful reader Earl Burroughs sent us this photo of several teams from the first ever twilight softball league in the United States in July of 1908. Good to know that even back then, there was always at least one dude willing to subscribe to the “sun’s out, guns out” mantra. Sweet tank, fourth dude from the right! Fun fact: softball uniforms in 1908 were apparently the same uniforms worn to work. And everything else.
