Bulletin board: Latest Art Concord Collaborative Gallery Tour set for Oct. 12 throughout city

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites members of the community and visitors to its next Art Concord free gallery tour to get a taste of why the capital area is becoming the cultural arts hub of the state. Local art galleries and other art venues around the city will join forces to offer the Art Concord Collaborative Gallery Tour on Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A flyer and map will be available at each gallery, as well as refreshments. This event is free and open to the public and participating venues include:

Concord City Audi Gallery, 2 Prince St., theaudi.org – Concord at night, photographs by Geoff Forester.
Kimball Jenkins School of Art, 266 N. Main St., kimballjenkins.com – A sense of place: Art Installations by Erin Sweeney, Alison Williams and Chloe Barcelou.

League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Gallery, 49 S. Main St., nhcrafts.org – 26th members’ juried exhibition.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive, starhop.org – Historic needlework and original wool creations by fiber artist Sarah Foynes.

McGowan Fine Art, 10 Hills Ave., mcgowanfineart.com – new to the gallery: works by Amy Brnger, Pat Gerkin, Julia Jensen, Jan Roy and Shiao-Ping Wang.

Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden, 236 Hopkinton Road, themillbrookgallery.com – 16th nnual outdoor sculpture exhibit.
