The Concord area AARP Tax-Aide team is looking for new volunteers interested in becoming Tax-Aide counselors. You don’t need tax experience – only a desire to help others.
We’ll train you to become an IRS-certified Tax-Aide volunteer and to experience the satisfaction of offering free tax preparation to low- and moderate-income taxpayers. We’ll teach you how to use your basic computer skills and a few hours of your time each week to help hundreds of local residents avoid the anxiety of preparing their own tax return or having to seek a paid preparer.
