Bulletin board: Learn about whole grains at the senior center

Do you want to eat a healthier diet, but are unsure where to begin? Join the Centennial Senior Center for this new educational program, “Is it Whole Grain,” which includes great nutrition tips and tastings.
The classes are Aug. 9, 16 and 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Centennial Senior Center. Open to those 60 years or older.

The classes will feature fun activities and discussions to help you learn more about how to eat more whole grains for breakfast, lunch and dinner; how to read food packages to know if a food is whole grain; the health benefits of whole grains; plus, taste test delicious whole grain foods and share tips and recipes.
