Concord – you could win a date with Tom Aspell!!!!!!!

As you’ve just read seconds ago, the city is launching a revamped website on Feb. 14. To help users acclimate themselves to the site, the city is also holding a contest that we at the Insider are very excited about. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, you can win a lunch date with Tom Aspell (and, we suppose, Mayor Jim Bouley as well). All you have to do is go to the new website (concordnh.gov), locate the entry form and answer the lucky 13 questions. Everyone who answers correctly will be entered into a drawing – winner gets the lunch date! (Feel free to donate that prize to us, if you wish.)
To help you out, we’ve gotten our hands on that list of questions, so you can get the jump on the non-Insider-reading competition (if such a thing exists). Time to bone up!

1. How many city councilors does Concord have?

2. What is City Manager Tom Aspell’s middle initial?

3. How many bids does the city currently have open for work on city projects?

4. True or false. You can now report all these issues to the city online: damaged mailbox, dead animal in the road, pothole, wastewater odor complaint?

5. How long is the longest runway at Concord Municipal Airport?

6. How many upcoming construction projects does the city have on tap?

7. Where can 3rd-6th graders go on February school vacation week with the Rec Department’s Day-cation program?

8. Is a lie detector test required to become a Concord Police officer?

9. How many fire stations does Concord have? What are their names?
10. Where can you get a marriage license?

11. Name three Community Development Block Grant projects found in the photo gallery.
12. Can you update your Emergency Contact information online?

13. Does the Concord Public Library have a copy of the New York Times No. 1 bestseller “Safe Haven” by Nicholas Sparks?

The contest closes at 10 p.m, March 1. To enter, use contest form at concordnh.gov. All correct entries will be placed in a drawing to win lunch with City Manager Tom Aspell and Mayor Jim Bouley.
