Whether you are an avid runner or have yet to lace up your new running shoes, join in the Concord Family YMCA’s inaugural New Year Family 5k Fun Run at NHTI, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. This is a family event, so all family members are encouraged to participate.
Register online or drop off a registration form at the YMCA’s Welcome Center.
Race day check-in and registration are in the lobby of the Student Union at NHTI. Pre-Registrants may pick up their race packet Jan. 4 at the Concord Family YMCA from 4 to 6 p.m. or at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Student Union Building.
The event is for all family members of all ages.
Entry fee is $20 for pre-entry by Dec. 28 and $5 for each additional family member. $25 for late registration.
Awards will be given out for each age group and overall male and female. Age groups include: 14 & U, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-over.
T-shirts will go to the first 100 participants registered.
Water will be provided on the course, and there will be plenty at NHTI.
