Meditation offering

Sometimes our life feels busy with impossible deadlines and interpersonal conflict; peace seems far away. Yet, just as the very center of a hurricane is perfectly still, through meditation we can learn to find peace amid the busyness. From this place of stillness, we can make good decisions that foster happiness for ourselves and others.
Buddhist Teacher Rochelle Sokoll will be offering a meditation workshop at The Conservation Center, 54 Portsmouth St., on Nov. 10. “The Eye of the Storm: Finding Peace Amidst Chaos” involves practical instructions and guided meditations that can help us to establish peace of mind in the very midst of our busy modern world. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $25, $15 for students/seniors. For more info please call 508-979-8277, visit MeditationInNew Hampshire.org or email info@meditationinmass.org. Everyone is welcome.
Rochelle Sokoll is a Buddhist Teacher at the Serlingpa Meditation Center in Massachusetts. The Serlingpa Meditation Center is a non-profit Buddhist organization dedicated to helping people find inner peace.
