The Concord Conservation Commission trailmeisters recently held a meeting on the Morono Park trail, where they explored the possible development of an additional loop.
The Morono Park trail, which can be accessed from Second Street, was named after Frank Morono, who worked for the city for 34 years. During that time, he was a member of the fire department, served as building inspector and was head of the building department. He enjoyed hiking and cross-country skiing.
The maintenance of city trails is done by volunteer trailmeisters, who keep the conservation commission advised of trail conditions. To adopt or help maintain a trail, or report a problem, call the conservation commission at 225-8515.
