Readers to the rescue . . .

Does the name Annie Rabinovitz ring a bell? If so, her granddaughter would love to speak to you.

Janet Reardon, of Wakefield, Mass., reached out to The Insider last month with an unusual request: She wants help finding an old yearbook photo of her grandmother, who she suspects graduated from Concord High between 1920-22.

Rabinovitz, who died in 1943 at the age of 28, was born in Concord and later married Harry Goldman. The two lived on Clinton Street and had a daughter, Shirley Goldman, who’s now 85.
“My grandmother died at such a young age, and my mother really doesn’t know much about her,” Reardon wrote. “Now there’s no one left in the family that would know.”

If you have a copy of the yearbook or know anything else about Rabinovitz, you can email the family at jjreardon@yahoo.com or write to J. Reardon, 2 Main St., Ste. 310, Stoneham, MA 02180.
