Community Players auction off a really cool quilt and more

Members of the Community Players of Concord (both theater-doers and theater-goers) will show off their other talents as the 82-year-old company holds its first auction of arts and crafts items and services made or provided by the membership.

One highlight is a quilt depicting player productions dating back 40 years made by Kathy Hodges, who's both the players treasurer and the auction producer. There are 45 items and counting (donations are accepted down to the wire) ranging from artistic to the practical.

When: Sept. 19, viewing and reception at 6 p.m. Auction at 7 pm.
