Granite State Candy Shoppe, which sits on Warren Street in Concord, has been producing sweet treats for nearly a century. The candy business won Top Cap for Best Shopping.

Q: What’s your favorite part of the work you do? I personally enjoy reconnecting with people and families that have been coming to our shop for generations and hearing their stories and experiences of how important our business has been to their families over the last 100 years.
Q: What role do you envision your business playing in the community? We love that we have become something of a downtown institution. We provide a consistent, high-quality product year after year that families have come to appreciate and rely upon to make their holiday celebrations memorable. We take great pride in so many folks welcoming our products into their home to mark the important events in their lives.
Q: What does winning Top Cap mean to you? As always, we are honored and humbled by this kind of recognition and hope that we can continue to live up to the high standards the community expects year after year.
Q: What’s something people might not know about you or your business? We have recently expanded our operation and settled into a new production facility on Hall Street in Concord in the Concord Business Center. We are proud to join Litherman’s Limited Brewing Company and 603 Bar-B-Q in the exciting foodie scene happening on Hall Street. We will be opening a new retail outlet shop at the new location soon!
