We got the blues (and it was fun)

It was a Thursday and we were thirsty. Thirsty for some blues music, that is. Okay, we were actually seeking a beer - the blues was just a bonus. During a recent visit to The Draft, 67 S. Main St., we listened to the musical stylin's of Lisa Marie and All Shook Up. The duo performed as part of the bar's weekly Blues Nights. The Draft has been welcoming acts from all over New England to croon every Thursday night away since February. 100-family yard sale

That's a lot of stuff

Come one, come all! What could very well be the largest yard sale in the history of Concord will take place in the parking lot next to Westbourne Road at Concord High School on June 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale is sponsored by family members of Concord High School's crew team. One hundred families will be participating.
