Trip to Walmart

On April 24 in the evening, Officer Scott Fanjoy responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifter. According to Fanjoy's report, he met up with Steve Farrar, the store's assistant manager. The store's loss prevention associate, Eric McGrath, was following the man, who was later identified as Jeffrey Schrempf, 30, of Nottingham, Fanjoy wrote. This week, we pay our respects to Vinnie, a 4-year-old African Grey parrot and Concord celebrity who recently passed away. He died last week after a long illness, his owner Jill Drago told us. On warm spring and summer days, Vinnie…

Look kids, it’s Concord-opoly!

It’s hard for us to imagine what Loudon Road might have looked like in the ’70s, but the fact that there was an eatery called Dan’s Mile-Long Hot Dog Stand speaks volumes.
