Sing-along fundraiser

Help rock the walls of the Sweeney Hall Auditorium at NHTI - Concord's Community College on Oct. 22 by attending the "Mamma Mia!" movie sing-along fundraiser!The evening will be complete with a costume contest, raffle prize and a buffet of Greek refreshments between a 3 p.m. matinee and 7 p.m. evening showing. Green initiatives

NHTI will save approximately $14,000 annually thanks to the installation of a combined heat and power system in the College's North Hall, which houses faculty and resident students. The new technology will allow both heat and electricity to be produced from the same resources, greatly increasing efficiency. The library also received improvements to its heating system and more efficient temperature controls.In addition to saving the college money, this project greatly increases the efficiency of energy use in North Hall. Legal breakfasts

Holiday fair

East Congregational Church will hold its annual holiday fair on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.The fair will feature a great bake sale, deli table, collectibles, handmade crafts, jewelry, and attic treasures.
