Prints of the year

Nearly 80 new prints by 45 New Hampshire artists are featured in "Prints of the Year 2009" at Franklin Pierce Law Center, 2 White St. The exhibit is open daily, free of charge, through April 3. The public is welcome to attend a reception for the artists on Friday evening, Feb. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. Participating artists will bring portfolios of their work featuring additional prints for examination and purchase. Basketball, basketball and more basketball!

The Sunrise Conference, made up of eight schools from four states, will hold its "Final Four Mens' and Womens' Basketball Tournament" at NHTI on Feb. 28 and March 1. There will be four games on Saturday, at 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m. and two games on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 pm. Although we cannot put the teams in the brackets yet, the first and third game on Saturday will be the womens' semi-finals featuring the No. and the No. 4 seeded teams.
