Metal fundraiser

The New Hampshire Association of the Deaf will hold a metal collection fundraiser on April 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 108 Loudon Road. Acceptable metals include iron, steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, nickel and more. Please, no items with fluids in them. For more information, call 929-4837 or e-mail nhadvicepres@yahoo.com.

Fishing, family fun and more at Merril Park this Saturday

Youth Fishing Day will be held on April 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Merril Park on Eastman Street. Admission is free. There will be refreshments, fly casting instruction and fly tying demonstrations.
