Wings of Knowledge continues April 1

NHTI, Concord’s Community College, has a surprisingly perse campus community, with students from over 50 countries of origin. Every April, the school’s monthly Wings of Knowledge lecture series invites one of the college’s foreign students to share insights of his or her home and culture with the campus and the wider community.

On April 1, at 7 p.m. in the Library Living Room, Puja Patel will present “Many Faces of India.” A foodie at heart, Puja will take us on a trip to her home country, a land full of tastes and textures, color and sound, people and traditions.

Launched in 2001-02, Wings of Knowledge is an annual series of cultural events presented by the college. All events are free and open to the public.

The series supports and expands upon NHTI’s wide variety of academic offerings, and is another element in the college’s expanding community college mission.
