The Concord Public Library held worm races last week. Contestants chose a worm and placed them in the center of a circle. Whichever worm squirmed its way to the edge of the circle first won! There were plenty of intrepid worm whisperers on hand, with worms like Squirmy, Diapers and Cheeks. Competition was fierce; in the end, these two young fellows were victorious. Their prize? A trophy, a box of gummy worms and one slimy new friend!
