The grammar bus is leaving the station

The Grammarnator offers a challenge to our readers. Having left his Kindle on the dining room table when he rushed to the bus station a while ago, he had nothing to read on the trip to Boston except the back of the ticket. He was astonished to find that he would make nine changes in punctuation and usage in the message printed there. He invites readers to see what they can come up with and send their responses to the Insider (mail responses to news@theconcordinsider.com). He will comment on the original and on the submissions in a forthcoming issue. Here is the text printed on the receipt from Concord Coach Lines:

All tickets must be used by the original purchaser ONLY and is not transferable. Purchase of this ticket does not constitute a reservation and does not guarantee seating; unless otherwise noted.

Due to factors beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee arrival or connection times; consequently, we cannot reimburse passengers because a trip is late. CONCORD COACH LINES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE OR EXPENSE CAUSED AS A RESULT OF ANY SUCH DELAYS, INCLUDING ANY OTHER TRAVEL EXPENSES.

Baggage will not be checked on Concord Coach Lines, and is limited as noted in our system timetable. Concord Coach lines is not responsible for damage or loss of luggage on our lines — delivered to our employee for transport in our baggage compartment — in an amount exceeding $250, per Adult Fare Ticket, $125, per Half-Fare Ticket. All bags are subject to random search. In selling this ticket the selling carrier acts only as an agent and is not responsible beyond its own line and does not assume expense, of transfer at any junction point, loss/damage, or guarantee any connection. Seating aboard vehicles, operated in interstate or foreign commerce is without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.
