Two weeks ago we introduced you to the Concord Monitor team as it prepared to take part in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. And to be honest, we still think your handshake was a little too firm. Ease up a little, chief.

But consider yourself lucky, because you can now say you know a group of people that raised a whopping total of $2,327 for the cause. You’ll tell your grandkids about it, probably.

You an also tell them that more than 5,000 people took part again in Concord this year, helping the Concord walk raise a grand total of $559,446. As it usually is, we’re sure our walk was again among the most successful in the nation this year. Great job, team Monitor!
