David Breen, Concord

I’ve lived in Concord since 1977, more than half my life! I love to shop downtown and am willing to pay slightly higher prices than if I shopped big box/chain stores. Locally owned businesses offer unique items and are generous about supporting nonprofits such as the Concord Chorale, of which I’ve been a member since 1983.
I shop at:
- Gibson’s Bookstore, 27 S. Main St.
- Britches, 1 Eagle Square
- League of NH Craftsmen, 36 N. Main St.
- Gondwana, 13 N. Main St.
- Bread and Chocolate, 29 S. Main St.
Debbie Carley, Concord

- Peggy Anne’s Quilt Shop, 2 Capital Plaza. Unusual fabrics, interesting project ideas, friendly service.
- Concord Antiques Gallery, 97 Storrs St. Because you just never know what you might find.
- Butter’s Fine Food and Wine, 70 N. Main St. The name says it all.
Suzanne Ellinwood, Concord
