Prohibited conduct in White Park

On June 24 about 1:43 a.m., Officer Almendin Dzelic was on foot patrol in the area of Washington and Rumford Streets. As he approached White Park, he noticed two vehicles in the parking lot. The park, he noted in his report, closes at 11 p.m. As he approached the vehicles, he heard voices coming from one, he wrote.

“When I got closed to (the vehicle), I noticed two naked male subjects and one naked female subject sitting in the back of the vehicle with the seats folded down,” Dzelic wrote. All three were covered by a blanket, he said. When asked their ages, the woman told Dzelic she was 35.

Another officer arrived and Dzelic asked them to put their clothes back on. The three were separated and interviewed by the police, he wrote.

The three – who were later identified as 43-year-old Ronisue Duby of Belmont; Zachary Parlier, 17, of Concord; and John Hall, 18, of Concord – gave similar stories to the police, Dzelic wrote.

Parlier said he had been friends with Duby for a few months and that they’d been hanging out several times a week. He said he noticed Duby at the park while he was on a walk, and that Hall later joined them.

The three told the police they played basketball, then went into Duby’s vehicle and started “fooling around,” Dzelic’s report said.

“Duby stated that they were playing basketball and that when they were done they went to her vehicle. . . . They folded down the back seats and started talking. Duby stated that one thing led to another and she ended up having sex with Parlier and Hall,” the report said.
When asked why she lied about her age, she said she was “ashamed and embarrassed” about what happened. The police called Parlier’s mother, who picked him up at White Park.
All three were charged with conduct prohibited in parks, a violation of city ordinance. They are due in court on Aug. 4.

Animals in a vehicle

On June 19 about 7 p.m., Officer Laura Spaulding was dispatched to Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of dogs in a vehicle.

Spaulding met with two people in the parking lot, who pointed out a green Saturn near the lawn and garden section. The temperature outside was about 88 degrees, Spaulding wrote, and the Saturn had four small dogs inside, with the windows down 4 to 5 inches.

“One dog was lying on the driver’s seat and seemed lethargic. Another was dripping from the nose and had labored breathing,” she wrote.

Spaulding said she opened the door to give the dogs air and water. “Three of the dogs rushed for water. The one in the front driver’s seat still did not move,” the report said.

About 30 minutes later, the owner, whom the police identified as 28-year-old Amanda Leduc of Hopkinton, returned to the car.

“Leduc did not approach us with concern,” Spaulding wrote. “I told her it was much too hot to leave her pets in a vehicle for the amount of time she had been gone. Leduc said, ‘I take these dogs all over New Hampshire. They are show dogs and they are fine.’ ”

“Leduc had an attitude with me as if I were wasting her time,” Spaulding wrote.

Leduc was charged with animals in a vehicle, a misdemeanor, and is due in court on Aug. 5.
