Movie review: 'The Ghost Writer'

I loved this movie. I loved the acting, direction and suspenseful atmosphere. the timing is perfect, the acting is superb and the direction is Hitchcock inspired. Roman Polanski has quite possibly made his best film to date. “The Ghost Writer” stars Ewan McGregor as a writer who’s hired to complete the memoirs of ex-British Prime Minister Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan). Based on the novel “The Ghost” by Robert Harris this film is a mystery/thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a must-see film, I promise that it will be up for multiple award nominations and may go down as a classic. I’d “stand in line on Christmas Day” to see this movie again.

“The Ghost Writer” is playing at the Red River Theaters through April 15, so catch it while you can.

The Chris Dell'Isola rating system:

I’d stand in line on Christmas Day = A Masterpiece
I’d go with my friends = Just a lot of fun
I’d bring a date = Good but not great
Only if my mother made me take my little sister = I’ve seen better
I’d rather see a chick flick with my mother = Rubbish
