Kids took the ball and ran with it during flag football opening day

The NFL held its draft last weekend (maybe you noticed one of the 327 hours of coverage on ESPN), but that was only the second most exciting NFL-related event going on – behind the kickoff of the Concord Parks and Recreation Department’s brand new NFL Flag Football program! The kiddos got started at Merrill Park on Sunday morning and had a great time, with two age groups getting their first taste of springtime football. Who knows, maybe there’s a future draft pick on the Concord fields!
