We know all about deadlines here at the Insider (if you’re reading this, it means we successfully met another one!), so who better to tell you about the upcoming deadline to enroll in healthcare this year?

Actually, there is someone way better: the Merrimack County Health Insurance Assister Alliance. The fine people there are hosting a Get Covered Concord! Enrollment Day on Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smile Building at 49 S. Main St. to help you begin exploring your options for affordable, quality health plans through Healthcare.gov.

Health insurance enrollment in-person help will be available there. Do you have questions about how to find affordable, quality health insurance? Heard about Healthcare.gov, but not sure what to do? Do you have questions about re-enrollment? If you are uninsured or under-insured, you may want to know about the best way to sign up for an affordable, quality health plan. This is where to go to find the help you need.

For insurance coverage that will be effective this year, the last day to enroll is Feb. 15. It is also the deadline for switching existing coverage to another insurance plan, so don’t miss the chance to get some expert advice and assistance. At the Get Covered fair, you will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one, in-person assistance from trained professionals who can help you find and explore your options and sign up for a health plan that fits your needs and your budget.

Reservations are preferred, and walk-ins are welcome. To reserve your place, call the Concord Hospital Financial Counseling Office at 227-7101.
