Center for Health Promotion receives grant

Concord Hospital received a $500 grant from Charter Charitable Foundation to support the REACH Higher Fund at Concord Hospital Center for Health Promotion.

The REACH Higher Fund was developed to address priority health needs as determined by the 2012 Capital Region Community Health Needs Assessment.

The REACH Higher Fund helps those in-need by providing financial assistance for health and wellness programming at the Center for Health Promotion to low-income community members in our region. This new fund continues Concord Hospital’s long-standing commitment of providing needed medical services regardless of insurance coverage or financial ability to pay.

The mission of the Center for Health Promotion is to improve the health and well-being of our community by working with inpiduals and groups to create a culture of wellness for everyone. Wellness services include nutrition, weight management, stress reduction, fitness, prenatal education and more.
