Last month we got this e-mail from Teresa Gladstone:
Recently as I left my office, a bird came shooting out of the bush next to the door. It made me jump a foot off the ground. When I came back and started to pass the bush, the same thing happened . . . . I checked through a couple of small opening in the branches but found nothing. I shared this strange behavior and my speculation on the reason for it with a coworker.
The next day my coworker said another coworker had spied the nest in the bush and there were eggs. True to form, I had my camera and he took me out and showed me the spot. Low and behold there was the nest with four robins eggs.
I have an album on Facebook so my friends can watch them grow up and get the play by play. My friends, children are getting such a kick out of it . . . They really are so ugly they are cute.
