You know how it is, Concord. Sometimes you just want to grab a quick slice of ’za for lunch. We asked our readers to tell us their favorite slice joints, and then we checked them out ourselves! We rated each place on a five-pizza scale in the following categories: taste, size and variety. Enjoy.

We screwed up! We mis-hit the 'pizza' key on our computer for the print edition of that issue. Vinnie's should have received a 5 in taste, vaulting it to the top of the list.

Dear Insider - Love your mag. Great writing...even better attitude. Sadly - though it's to be expected from a bunch of journalism majors - your simple arithmetic skills are sorely lacking. Add up the pizzas in your center spread, and the true result is a tie between Constantly, Vinnie's, and Sal's...at 13.5 a piece (or slice). Not to worry...I completely agree these three make the best pies in town. Keep the good stuff coming. - Zelmo
