Concord native and Concord Community Music School alumnus Craig Sanphy, an accomplished tenor, will return to the Music School for a free public recital on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Sanphy will be accompanied by Kathryn Southworth on piano.
Fans of musical theatre won’t want to miss Sanphy’s performance, which will focus on show tunes, with a style described as “blow-the-house-down kind of singing!” Sanphy will perform selections from Dear Evan Hansen, Les Miserables, Bridges of Madison County, Phantom of the Opera, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and other Broadway hits.
Sanphy has made a career of music, teaching voice, performing as a featured classical soloist in a variety of music festivals and symphonies, as well as playing lead roles and dancing in musical theatre productions across the country.
