It’s cold outside, but we have a hot week of entertainment ahead in the capital city. It’s mostly music this week, with a couple of plays mixed in.

  • Open Jam Night at Area 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Theater

  • Community Players of Concord present Vanya and Sonia and Marsha and Spike. Jim Webber directs the hilarious comedy about three adult siblings facing mid-life realities in the new millennium. Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Concord City Auditorium. Tickets are $20 or $18 for students and seniors.   • Three Witches Productions presents Shakespeare’s Macbeth at Hatbox Theatre this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reserve your seat in the midst of the battlefield where ambition, temptation and the supernatural lay siege to Scotland. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12, $14 or $17 and are available at hatboxnh.com or at the door.
