It’s trick-or-treating time

There’s a good chance you’ll see Princess Elsa on Monday.

Along with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Iron Man and maybe even Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. They’ll knock on your front door and ask for candy in traditional Halloween lingo (we mean trick-or-treat), which in turn you’ll hold out a bowl of candy and ask each superhero, ghost and zombie prom queen to take one.

That’s at least how our experience on Halloween has gone since, well, we were introduced to Halloween.

And since this is the biggest night of the year to dress up like anything you want, we want you to concentrate on the important things – getting your costume just right, finding the perfect pillow case (it holds way more candy than a bag) and creating a secret stash spot in your room to hide candy from your parents.

We took care of finding out the details – and if you play your cards right, you might just be able to get to four trick-or-treating locations (if you count Halloween Howl on Friday).

First up is Penacook, which will hold its night of candy collection on Sunday, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Concord will do its trick-or-treating on the actual holiday (which really should be a day off for all) on Monday, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

And you can also finally grab some free candy at the mall when Steeplegate hosts its night of trick-or-treating on Monday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and will have trick or treat bags on hand, while supplies last.

So get out there and get some candy. And don’t forget that if you get some extra that you’re not going to eat, we’ll gladly take it.
